Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business announced an expansion of its fiber network to the Salinas Municipal Airport Business District in Salinas, CA. The district is home to more than 155 manufacturing, biotech and education businesses. Comcast Business installed more than three miles of fiber, both underground and aerial, to the business community adjacent to the Salinas Municipal Airport.
The high-speed fiber network is designed to provide the businesses with the ability to get Internet speeds up to 10 Gbps.
Available Comcast business services in the area now include Ethernet Dedicated Internet, Ethernet Private Line, Ethernet Virtual Private Line, Ethernet Network Services, and Comcast Business VoiceEdge cloud-based voice and unified communications.
