Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) Business Class announced the availability of new Business Internet speed tiers up to 300 Mbps throughout the Triangle area of North Carolina. The new business services speed tiers, mainly targeted at small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), include 100x10, 200x20, and 300x20 Mbps, and are enabled by recent upgrades to TWCBC's network. The MSO completed its "TWC Maxx" upgrade program in the Triangle area last week.

Satya Parimi, TWC group vice president, product management, said, "This launch is part of a larger initiative to invest in our network and products to meet the growing needs of small and mid-size businesses with new and innovative services they've come to expect from us."

In addition, Business Class customers receive free access to TWC WiFi hotspots. The service supplies Business Internet customers a WiFi platform with no impact on their existing operations. The WiFi access point and associated modem are maintained entirely by TWCBC, along with TWC technical support and a 24/7 toll-free helpdesk.

For businesses that need more bandwidth or symmetrical speeds for greater upstream capacity, Time Warner Cable Business Class Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) offers symmetrical speeds up to 10 Gbps.
