The company is extending its fiber-based network to two business districts in Napa, CA, where Comcast Business installed more than 14 miles of fiber, both underground and aerial, to the industrial areas. The $2.5 million extension is intended to make Internet speeds up to 10 Gbps and IP-based voice services available to almost 450 businesses.

One business district is the Napa Airpark, east of Napa County Airport, where Comcast Business has installed fiber to 111 buildings hosting 295 businesses. The second business district is three miles to the north near Napa Valley Memorial Park. Comcast Business has extended fiber to 89 buildings hosting 252 businesses in the second industrial area.

In Fife, WA, Comcast Business has expanded its network to more than 145 businesses. The $380,000 HFC network extension is intended to deliver data, voice and video services to the area, including Internet speeds up to 10 Gbps. Area businesses will also have access to Comcast Ethernet services, including Ethernet Dedicated Internet, Ethernet Private Line, Ethernet Virtual Private Line, Ethernet Network Services, and Comcast Business VoiceEdge, a cloud-based voice and unified communications solution.
