Atlantic Broadband has been named the exclusive provider of residential and business services including video, Internet and voice communication services for Panorama Tower, a new 83-story development in downtown Miami. The mixed-use development will include medically oriented office space, a 208-room hotel, retail outlets and restaurant space, and 821 luxury apartments. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2017.

Atlantic Broadband plans to invest $4.5 million to create a redundant fiber-to-the-unit network, and will also offer business services, such as symmetrical 1 Gbps Metro Ethernet and hosted voice solutions. Residential services will include multiscreen video from TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO) and Internet speeds up to 1 Gbps.

Atlantic Broadband is also deploying a solution to enable carrier neutral cellular coverage throughout the complex utilizing a distributed antenna system (DAS) connected to its fiber network.

Atlantic Broadband is no stranger to the Miami MDU market, having inked connection deals with the Clevelander Hotel and Essex House Hotel, South Beach properties in the Miami Beach Art Deco District, last May.
