AT&T (NYSE:T) is expanding its gigabit Internet footprint for both residential and business services customers.
The telco is expanding the availability of its fiber-based GigaPower 1 Gbps Internet service in parts of Atlanta, Los Angeles, Kansas City and Oklahoma City to residential and small business customers. AT&T plans to triple the availability of the fiber-based broadband service by the end of 2016.
The company's Business Fiber now has gigabit speeds in parts of Chicago, Dallas, Miami and San Francisco. The service is available in AT&T Fiber Ready buildings.
