In collaboration with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX) has announced a new business services solution called Amdocs Cloud-Fusion. The solution is intended to enable service providers to provide connectivity and more secure cloud applications for enterprise and small-and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It's designed to enable enhanced cloud service offerings such as premium bandwidth, wide area network (WAN) optimization, and committed service level agreements (SLAs).

Amdocs Cloud-Fusion combines Microsoft Azure's cloud infrastructure with Amdocs Network Cloud Service Orchestrator, which is designed to continuously design, fulfill and assure network services from any virtual network function (VNF) vendor to facilitate access to Azure's value-added business services and third-party Microsoft Azure Marketplace solutions.

The vendor-agnostic Amdocs Cloud-Fusion is intended to provide unified management, monitoring, orchestration and assurance to enable service providers to automate fulfillment and operations of cloud-based services to fulfill orders in minutes instead of weeks.
