DOCSIS 4.0 modem certification now available from CableLabs

Starting June 26, manufacturers will be able to submit cable modems for DOCSIS 4.0 compliance testing.

On June 6, CableLabs and its subsidiary Kyrio announced the availability of CableLabs Certification for DOCSIS 4.0 cable modems.
Per an announcement on the CableLabs website, starting June 26, manufacturers will be able to submit cable modems for DOCSIS 4.0 compliance testing.
As reckoned by CableLabs and Kyrio, "the certification is an essential component of ensuring interoperability, maintaining quality standards, and instilling customer confidence" in these products.
To learn more about the certification, broadband industry stakeholders are invited to attend CableLabs' informational Zoom session on Wednesday, June 28, at 11:00 am MDT.
During this event, session attendees will be able to review the details of the DOCSIS 4.0 Certification Program and participate in a Q&A.
