Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) ha iniciado gestiones con el gobierno de Trinidad y Tobago con el deseo de poseer una participación mayoritaria en la empresa de telecomunicaciones TSTT.

Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) ha iniciado gestiones con el gobierno de Trinidad y Tobago con el deseo de poseer una participación mayoritaria en la empresa de telecomunicaciones TSTT. Actualmente, la compañía posee el 49 por ciento, pero desea aumentarlo hasta en un 2 por ciento y se ha comprometido a invertir $ 100 millones en el país, según Near Shore Americas. CWC ya ha tomado el control de empresas de telecomunicaciones estatales en las Bahamas y Panamá y ha anunciado planes para establecer su sede en Miami.
