Mediacom Communications and Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ:SNCR) announced the deployment of a mobile customer care application designed to give Mediacom customers access to the cable operator's customer service using a smartphone or tablet.Branded as MediacomConnect, the new mobile care app is intended to help subs troubleshoot and resolve service inquiries, schedule appointments and view or pay bills. It's powered by SmartCare, a cloud-based product of the Synchronoss Mobile Content Management Platform. The app is available as a free download for use on iPhone, tablet or Android devices.
