The city of Longmont, CO, has signed a long-term deal with GLDS for its back office solutions. The deployment includes GLDS' WinCable subscriber management and billing system, Super Controller provisioning platform, and WinForce Tech workforce management.

Longmont is launching a GPON-based municipal voice and data network designed to provide data speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Longmont Power & Communications will operate the network. Construction began in August.

GLDS is demonstrating its billing, subscriber management, provisioning and workforce management solutions at Cable-Tec Expo.
