Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) subsidiary thePlatform has scored two customer wins in Canada and Australia with shomi and Stan, respectively.

thePlatform is providing back-end video management services for shomi, a subscription VOD service launched in Canada late last year. shomi is a joint venture owned equally by Rogers Communications (NYSE:RCI) and Shaw Communications (TSX:SJR.B).

In Australia, thePlatform has been selected by subscription VOD service Stan, a joint venture between Nine Entertainment and Fairfax Media.
