Apparently Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX) is having a busy week, with several back office deployment announcements in Canada, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Canada

  • Canadian service provider Rogers Communications has signed a three-year services agreement with Amdocs, under which the vendor will assume responsibility for development and maintenance of select business support system (BSSs) across Rogers' cable, wireline and wireless lines of business.
  • Bell Canada has extended its managed services and related professional services relationship with Amdocs, under which the vendor will deliver, enhance and maintain Bell Canada's BSSs across the organization for an additional five years through 2022.

LATAM

  • Brazilian service provider Oi, with 73 million customers across multiple lines of business, has upgraded its Amdocs BSS, based on Comverse Kenan technology, to deliver new services, reduce costs and support its growing customer base. Oi offers landline telephony, mobile telephony, broadband Internet access, pay TV and WiFi.
  • In Mexico, Amdocs has opened a new development and operations center in Guadalajara. The new center offers services in a managed services model, including systems integration, application development, operation and maintenance, testing and training.
  • Telefonica has selected the Amdocs operational data store solution for its operations in Argentina in order to collect, store and gain actionable business insights from their data assets. Telefonica previously deployed an Amdocs operational data store at its operations in Chile and Peru.

APAC

  • Asian communications group Singtel has signed a multi-year services agreement for Amdocs to deliver a single platform for online customer care and commerce in its key markets of Singapore and Australia. Singtel provides wireless, wireline, broadband Internet and video.
  • M1 Singapore has deploys an Amdocs convergent billing solution, based on Comverse technology.
