BTR extends 2017 Diamond Technology Reviews deadline

At the behest of several companies, some of whom are preparing multiple entries, Broadband Technology Report (BTR) has extended the submission deadline for the 2017 Diamond Technology Reviews program. BTR now will accept entries for the 12th edition of the Diamond Technology Reviews until 11:59 EDT, Monday, July 10.

At the behest of several companies, some of whom are preparing multiple entries, Broadband Technology Report (BTR) has extended the submission deadline for the 2017 Diamond Technology Reviews program. BTR now will accept entries for the 12th edition of the Diamond Technology Reviews until 11:59 EDT, Monday, July 10.

As reported previously, BTR has changed the program this year (see "BTR Adds Twist to 2017 Diamond Technology Reviews"). In addition to scoring entries on a scale of 1 to 5 Diamonds, BTR’s panel of independent judges will determine finalists and winners in 16 categories. The categories include:

  • Active Network Hardware
  • Back Office
  • Cabling and Accessories
  • CCAP Systems
  • CPE
  • Content Discovery
  • Field Test Instruments
  • FTTH/Optical Access Platforms
  • Monitoring & Analysis
  • Network-Level Test Instruments
  • Optical Transport/Carrier Ethernet
  • SDN/NFV/Cloud
  • Video Content Security
  • Video Distribution Solutions
  • Video Processing Solutions
  • Wi-Fi Solutions

Winners will be announced October 18 during the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, CO.

Submitted products must be new since last year's SCTE Cable-Tec Expo or have received a major upgrade since that time. Products introduced before or at last year's SCTE Cable-Tec Expo that have not been upgraded significantly in the past year are not eligible for submission.
