Horizon, a fiber-optic broadband company operating from Columbus, Ohio, has announce the launch of its Voice Connect platform. Powered by Cymbus, this hosted voice solution enables Horizon customers to enhance the mobility and efficacy of their business communication and collaboration with a turnkey, cloud-based, easily consumable and customizable tool.

Backed by Horizon’s dedication to local service excellence, the company says its Voice Connect customers can "empower newly distributed workforces and amplify value with scalable solutions that keep teams working at the speed of digital business."

“Today’s workforce is growing more distributed by the day, but the need for seamless communication has never been more clear. Businesses require a solution that can keep teams fully aligned in order to reach new goals — regardless of if these individuals are in home offices, on the road or elsewhere,” says Craig Drinkhall, director of products and sales engineering at Horizon. He adds, “The cloud is key to achieving new levels of mobility without sacrificing robust capability, and we’re thrilled to be offering a customizable, all-in-one solution that helps our customers meet evolving mission-critical requirements.”

The cloud-based voice solution offered by Voice Connect streamlines enterprise phone systems, and Horizon’s professional installation service ensures users can stay focused on core business initiatives while getting the communications and collaboration options they need. The offered solution offers fully featured cloud-supported desktop phones, providing voice services to all employees and conference rooms.

Horizon says its Voice Connect Premium and Deluxe options build on this strong foundation, enabling users to: bring calls and instant messages on-the-go with an intuitive app for employee devices; as well as leverage HD video conferencing, softphone and instant messaging capabilities. In deployment, local experts will install and configure phones, as well as offer training for customer teams in addition to standard customer support.
