Cable One completes Hargray acquisition

Cable One says it looks forward to expanding its footprint into high-quality markets in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, as well as re-entering the Alabama market.

Cable One, Inc. (NYSE: CABO) on May 3 announced the completion of its acquisition of the remaining equity interests in Hargray Acquisition Holdings, LLC that it did not already own.

Hargray is a facilities-based regional communications provider serving nearly 125,000 residential and business customers in 14 markets across Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Hargray offers gigabit-capable services to approximately 99% of its customers. Approximately 60% of Hargray’s total revenues for the 12-month period ended December 31, 2020 were derived from residential data and business services customers.

Sparklight provides consumers with a wide array of connectivity and entertainment services, including high-speed internet and advanced Wi-Fi solutions, cable television and phone service. Sparklight Business and Clearwave provide scalable and cost-effective products for businesses ranging in size from small to mid-market, in addition to enterprise, wholesale and carrier customers.
