Lindsay Broadband boosts optical solutions division

Lindsay Broadband annouced it has promoted Ravi Christian to Product Line Manager, Optical Solutions Division. The company said Christian brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to the role.

Lindsay Broadband (Peterborough, Ontario) is pleased to announce the promotion of Professional Engineer, Ravi Christian to the position of Product Line Manager, Optical Solutions Division, effective October 1, 2021.

Lindsay’s Optical Solutions Division is focused on optical headend solutions, optical passives, optical nodes, RFoG solutions, subscriber termination enclosures, and FTTx optical receivers.

Ravi joined Lindsay in 2014 as Fiber Optic Networking Technologist. He holds a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology from Ganpat University India, Wireless Telecommunication Post-Graduate Certification from Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, and most recently became a Professional Engineer.

He began his career with Nokia Networks India working on Base Stations Subsystems for Vodafone, and moved on to Komoline Aerospace India as Business Development Engineer.

“Ravi will be responsible for evolving Lindsay’s optical solutions portfolio into a world-class, multi-client division spanning diverse markets including cable, telecom, WISP, utilities, and municipalities,” said David Atman, President of Lindsay Broadband. “His tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience, along with his proven, high-performing, team player skills will continue to serve Lindsay extremely well as we expand further into the advanced fiber optic world.”
