Sumix Manta-W+ Fiber Inspection Microscope

Feb. 20, 2019
The Sumix Manta-W+ probe inspects and analyzes MPO connector endfaces in one scan and in just 4 seconds. It offers automatic, accurate multifocusing, optimal multi-illumination, and analysis of fibers performed all at once, which leaves no room for operator errors. Images of the entire ferrule, including guide holes, are saved for cleanliness control.

The Manta-W+ is the first probe on the market that can show and inspect up to 96 fibers of an MPO connector at once, which dramatically decreases testing time, Sumix says.

Judge’s comment: “Great option for MTP/MPO testing; ability to check up to 96 fibers on one screen is impressive. Broad range of compatible connectors makes it an even more impressive product.”
