APRIL 11, 2008 -- Valpey Fisher Corp. (search for Valpey Fisher) has introduced the VFJA402 and VFJA430 jitter attenuators, integrated clock/PLL timing devices for 1G/10G/100G synchronous Ethernet applications.
The VFJA402 provides two LVPECL outputs from 10 to 200 MHz. The VFJA430 has two LVCMOS outputs from 10 to 200 MHz. Two select inputs [S1, S0] allow the user to select one of three preset input frequencies from 8 kHz to 200 MHz or free-run mode for both jitter attenuators.
The VFJA402 and VFJA430 offer low output jitter (0.20 psec RMS 12 kHz to 20 MHz). The devices operate from a +3.3-V DC power supply and typically consume 150 mW. Both are available in a 19.5x15.5-mm surface-mount package and are RoHS 6/6 compliant.
