AddOn Networks offers Linksys-compatible optical transceivers for wireless network support
AddOn Networks says it now offers a line of optical transceivers compatible with Linksys wireless networking products. The optical modules are targeted at enterprises who are looking to expand their on-site wireless networks. The Linksys-compatible optical transceivers will be marketed through AddOn and Linksys authorized commercial channels in North America and EMEA.
The line launches with four optical modules:
- The LACGLX-AO 1000Base-LX SFP optical transceiver (SMF, 1310 nm, 10 km, LC connector)
- The LACGSX-AO 1000Base-SX SFP optical transceiver (MMF, 850 nm, 550 m, LC connector)
- The LACXGSR 10GBase-SR SFP+ optical transceiver (MMF, 850 nm, 300 m, LC connector, digital optical monitoring)
- The LACXGLR 10GBase-LR SFP+ optical transceiver (SMF, 1310 nm, 10 km, LC, digital optical monitoring).
