EXFO says its PXM/LXM MPO Optical Loss Test Set (OLTS) helps customers reduce operational expenses in multiple ways. One is speed of test; the instrument’s FasTesT™ technology enables tests of MPO-12 cables at two wavelengths in just 1 second. Meanwhile, the PXM/LXM features field-proven ruggedness, while its ease of use reduces the learning curve and therefore training costs. The built-in intelligence and automation of the PXM/LXM help reduce the risk of human errors (from referencing to getting the wrong diagnostic). The PXM/LXM delivers the right results on the first try, avoiding repeat jobs.
