Senko Advanced Components: Senko SN-MT Connector

Feb. 6, 2022
The Senko SN-MT is a next-generation multi-fiber connector that can carry a maximum of 16-fibers in a single row ferrule contained within a regular SN connector footprint.
The Senko SN-MT is a next-generation multi-fiber connector that can carry a maximum of 16 fibers in a single-row ferrule contained within a regular SN connector footprint. The design improves connector density by 2.7X over MPO-16F and 1.3X over MPO-32F. It’s suitable for a variety of applications that require high-density solutions. The Senko SN-MT 16F can accommodate up to 3456 fiber connections in a single 1RU patch panel. This high density is perfect for a 1RU height co-packaged optics(CPO) 51.2T switch, which can use 64 SN-MT 16F connectors on the top of the face plate while providing enough space for external laser source fiber connectors.

Judge’s Comment: “Senko SN-MT is the most promising high-density fiber connection solution in the marketplace today.”
