Sumix says its two-sided, side+front 3D interferometric inspection capability for MT ferrules and MPO connectors provides highly accurate measurements of surface parameters and guide hole angles and parallelism as required by IEC standards. Its use can eliminate errors caused by cable strain or incorrect connector insertion.

Judge’s comment: “This product provides the complete testing solution for MPO connectors, including both the end-face and the alignment pins. This is important, because it doesn't matter if the end-face is good if the alignment is off.”
