Wirewerks LGXtra Patch Module

Feb. 20, 2020
Wirewerks says the LGXtra Patch Module was designed at the behest of Rogers Communications, which asked how fiber patching in their LGX-style fiber management systems might be updated to simplify processes and reduce costs. The new Wirewerks LGXtra Patch Module is a robust, fully LGX-style compatible module that provides up to 12/24 SC/LC connectors for fiber patching and cross-connect applications. Key innovations include an integrated, removable fusion splice tray, a removable faceplate, and Wirewerks’ new CableMate device, a no-cable-tie solution for cable attachment and strain-relief.

Judge’s comment: “Nice fiber enclosure. The high-contrast yellow of the splice tray would be great for visibility. The interior of the unit appears to utilize space efficiently, leaving the exterior sleek and minimizing its overall footprint.”
