Summary

In this presentation, we delve into the challenging world of upgrading data center infrastructures to accommodate the increasing demands of AI applications and 400G+ high-speed networks. As data centers evolve, the challenge lies not just in enhancing network speeds, but also in ensuring the seamless integration and interoperability of a diverse mix of components.

We will explore what are the testing best practices to address the challenges inherent in testing and validating high-speed links. This includes a deep dive into the complexities of working with a varied array of fiber-optic cabling, transceivers, switches, and routers, often sourced from different vendors. Ensuring compatibility and interoperability among these components is crucial for the smooth functioning of upgraded networks.
