MACOM’s 12G-SDI Chipset Chosen by PHABRIX to Deliver Next-Generation 4K Video Test and Measurement Solutions

Powered by MACOM’s 12G-SDI Chipset, PHABRIX’s latest Rx series instruments with 12G-SDI eye/jitter analysis enable broadcasters and broadcast video OEMs to qualify their 12G-SDI interconnects

Lowell, MA, September 11, 2014 – M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (MACOM), a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions for broadcast video infrastructure, announced today that PHABRIX has chosen MACOM’s 12G-SDI Chipset for its new 4K/UHDTV1 instruments with eye/jitter analysis. PHABRIX’s advanced new Rx series instruments support the 12G-SDI interface and enable 4K60p video monitoring on a single cable.

MACOM’s family of 12G-SDI products are currently shipping in volume. These MACOM products, as well as a live demonstration of PHABRIX’s 12G-SDI eye technology, will be displayed at IBC 2014 in MACOM’s booth (8.C01/Hall 8) at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam, September 12th – 16th.

The PHABRIX 12Gbps solutions will also be on display at the PHABRIX booth (8.E40/Hall 8).
