This new generation of balanced photodetectors will detect ultra-high baud-rate coherent signals and therefore enable customers to develop their own transmission components and electronics, or test new high-baud rate transmission systems. The BPDV412x product enables the next generation of test equipment (like optical modulator analyzers, high-speed sampling scopes, and high-speed
real-time scopes) whose role is essential in developing, verifying and bringing to market upcoming high bit-rate modulation formats.
