VeEX debuts 800G single portable testing module

The new platform will address emerging hyperscale data Centers, DCI, Transport, Aggregation, cross-connect, 5G x-haul, and NEMs field support.

VeEX has introduced the RXT-6800 Advanced 800G multi-service test module. Building on its RXT-6402 400G high-speed module, the new RXT-6800 is a portable solution that offers the flexibility of field-testing current interfaces up to 800G. 

With a single port for 800G and dual test ports for 400G and below, the RXT-6800 module extends the RXT platform’s testing range to 800/2x400 Gbps for applications such as hyperscale data centers, DCI, transport, aggregation, cross-connect, 5G x-haul, and NEMs field support.

A compact field portable test solution, RXT-6800 has several key features:

• 1.5 Mbps to 800G testing in a single test module

• 800G PCS/FEC

• 800G, 2x400GE Test Mode

• 800G, 8x100GE Test Mode

• Native 800G QSFP-DD800, 400G QSFP-DD, SFP-DD, SFP56/28/+, QSFP28/56

• Single 800GE & Dual Port 400GE operation

“The RXT-6800 is tailored for R&D lab and SVP environments and allows easy transition to field testing due to its true portability,” said Ricardo Torres, senior director of Ethernet Product Marketing at VeEX.

RXT-6800 will be displayed at the Ethernet Alliance’s interoperability event, Booth #1415, at this year's OFC in San Diego, CA.
